She Shares - Personal Stories of Learned Lessons

Many of the most impactful lessons we learn from the Bible are the biographies of great women and men in the Old Testament. God share their struggles, tragedies, and victories with His followers so that they will learn from the past. Scripture tells us in Romans 15:4, "For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."

I think of Ruth who faced the death of her husband during a famine, yet she demonstrated strength and wisdom to seek and obey God in the midst of her troubles. Then, there is the story of Leah and Rachel, sisters who competed for the love of one man through childbirth. The list of heartbroken and brave women are etched in the lines of scripture for our benefit. I believe that this pattern of learning from experience is worth continuing.

I will share the stories of godly women who have lived through heartache and victory to inspire you to learn from their mistakes and lessons learned. These are brave women who are willing to share their story so that as she shares, you will learn and most importantly turn to and rely upon our Heavenly Father through your own life experiences and make wise choices and decisions based on the Word of God.
